Lisa (Director/Teacher) was born in Australia and has a double degree in Teaching and Social Science from The University of Newcastle in N.S.W. Lisa has many years of experience teaching; including two working holidays in Japan. She spent six months teaching for NOVA in Nagasaki prefecture before returning a few years later to teach in a private English conversation school in Mie prefecture for 1 year.

Mark (CTO/Assistant Director) has an honours degree in computing and artificial intellegence from the University of Sussex in England, and is in charge of the technical/administrative aspects of the business. He has always had a keen interest in languages having spent time living in both France and Spain, and since emigrating to Australia from England in 1999 he has been learning Japanese. - "Language is all about communication. In order to learn to communicate effectively it is essential to be practising speaking and listening in a friendly supportive environment."
